The battle of two storied NC public schools started out hot, with both teams scoring early and often. Farmville Central used a balanced effort to take an 18-15 lead after the first quarter. The Jaguars signature scrappy defensive style came alive early in the second, being physical in the paint and forcing bad shots or free throws. The FC lead grew to six early in the quarter and Millbrook spent the remainder of the half working to close the gap.
