2025 Zymicah Wilkins certainly has proven that he is one of the premier talents in the state of North Carolina for his class, and he has had a tremendous summer to date. Wilkins has been able to rack up some impressive offers so far, but he recently made a trip to take an unofficial visit to Raleigh this week.
On Wednesday, the forward from Christ School traveled to NC State for an unofficial visit and after touring the campus, he was able to walk away with an offer from the Wolfpack. Phenom Hoops talked to Wilkins shortly after the event about his thoughts on the offer.
Phenom: What did you do on the visit' What did you get to do and see' How did the day unfold'
Wilkins: First, when I got there, we looked at the gym and the campus, and then we got something to eat. And then I went back and took pictures.
Phenom: What impressed you with what you saw there at NC State'
Wilkins: I love the coaching staff there. We had a great connection, so that was what impressed me a lot.
Phenom: Who all did you get to talk to while there'
Wilkins: Coach Keatts and Coach Levi, along a few others.
Phenom: What did they say when they offered you'
Wilkins: They said it was nice having me on campus and they loved my game and that they would like to give me an offer.
Phenom: What were your overall thoughts on the program now that you hold an offer and after your visit'
Wilkins: My overall thoughts is that the program has a great coaching staff, they know what they are going, and it was a great overall experience.
