The Phenom Summer Finale brought some of the premier talents to the court, which included Phenom Hoops' No. 1 player in the class of 2025 in 2025 6'8 Sadiq White. White was once a name many were learning, but he is now ranked as one of the top players not only in North Carolina but nationally, and when you watch him in action, it is easy to see why.
The 6'8 long, lengthy, and athletic prospect was putting on a show and showing just exactly what he can be on the court; a dominant force on both ends. His ability to run the floor, use his length to finish at the rim, block shots and protect the basket, and be a force that moves exceptionally well all make him so unique and enticing. White is at his best when he is able to showcase that elite athleticism as a forward, dominating and being quicker than others, and showing his strength in finishing on top of defenders at the rim as well as protecting the basket.
But you can see that he is continuing to add more and diversify his game, showing his ability to step out, make plays off the bounce, create for himself, and be used in a variety of ways on both sides of the court.' He continues to make progress while excelling in what he does best.' This is why he is such a unique prospect as his game already excites you, but there is still so much room for growth.'
It was no shocker that White's recruitment would take off, and it certainly has as he has racked up 20 or more offers and more should still be coming his way. Schools like Georgetown, NC State, Tennessee, Texas, Cincinnati, Syracuse, and others have recently joined in with an offer, and we spoke with him to talk about what else is going on his way.
Right now, he has visits set up to Texas on August 26th and then Cincinnati on September 23rd. As far as schools that are staying strong right now with him, he mentioned NC State, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Texas, Cincinnati, Georgetown, LSU, Ohio State, and Syracuse are all staying in contact daily.
White also mentioned that schools like North Carolina, Kentucky, Oregon, Arizona, Ohio State, and Michigan have all expressed interest but have yet to offer.'
And as far as schools that he would like to visit, White said LSU, Syracuse, Ohio State, and North Carolina would all be on that list.
