Phenom Hoops traveled to Fort Mill recently to check in on the Absolute Basketball Fall League, giving fans an early look at players and teams around the Charlotte area.  Teams came out and looked to compete, which they did, leaving it all on the court.  It also gave us and fans a chance to view players more with their high school teammates, as we break down what we saw at the event.

We got a chance to watch some of the talent that will be suiting up for Cannon this year, a program that lost Jaden Bradley but has a ton of talent once again that should be playing at the next level. Let’s dive into what we saw on the court, with other names possibly popping up later this season.

2021 Jarvis Moss
Moss looks to take over some of the duties left by Jaden Bradley and he seems ready to take on a bigger role from what we have seen this summer and at the fall league.  He is a stronger and better guard that looks more aggressive with the ball in his hands.  Still a knockdown shooter from the perimeter and should only continue to show, Moss also is starting to show more of his ability to get downhill and initiate the offense.  He does a good job at picking where to attack, weaving through defenses in transition and in the halfcourt, along with finishing strong.  Moss seems to be ready to be one of the top leaders for this team.

2022 DJ Nix
