Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day. It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Carter Whitt
Class: 2021
Committed to: Wake Forest

What does Wake Forest Get:

First off, what a snag for first year head coach Steve Forbes and for the Wake Forest program.  Not only do the Demon Deacons get a Top-100 type talent to build around for the future, but also a local name in North Carolina.  As far as a player, Whitt will be a floor general that has a great blend of scoring ability but also terrific vision and instincts on how to find his teammates.  He plays with tremendous pace, gets to his spots, and keeps defenders off balance.  Being a star in North Carolina, Whitt will certainly bring more eyes and fans to Winston-Salem with his game.

Stats Last Season:

Whitt was regarded as one of the top prospects in the State of North Carolina with his play at Leesville Road, where he posted numbers of 22.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game
