It seems like Combine Academy has continuously found positive results in discovering and developing players'and Ebrima Jabbi seems ready to emerge. For starters, the 7-footer is still playing in running shoes (due to his massive feet), yet still performs at a notable level. Jabbi already does a great job of impacting the game defensively and on the glass, but can also finish effectively around the basket. He's great at making his presence felt within the flow of the action on both ends of the floor. Jabbi is willing to do the dirty work, run hard in transition, and adapt to team needs. He's a great teammate who is still truly just beginning to scratch the surface of his long-term abilities.

What To Expect:

Folks should expect Jabbi to play a considerable role for the Goats this season. His presence as a tough, mobile, high-motor big man immediately bolsters their ceiling as a group. Jabbi simply knows how to play hard and impact the game without necessarily requiring offensive touches. Sure, he's a capable finisher around the basket, but he's able to make his presence consistently felt as a rebounder, rim-protector, and lob threat in transition. Jabbi fights for position on the glass, makes hustle plays, and blocks shots at a healthy rate defensively. He knows his role and doesn't look to force the action or play outside of his strengths on the court. Jabbi should appeal to a variety of college coaches, as it's rare to see an under-the-radar big man with his blend of size, instincts, and low-maintenance identity. Expect him to be a difference-maker over the coming months.
