The Phenom Grassroots TOC is this weekend in Rock Hill/Fort Mill, as it is the first LIVE Period with Phenom Hoops this season. The talent pool runs deep throughout and we want to give college coaches a leg up on who to watch and who will be in action. Here are a few players to check out for each team, presented by the head coach.

Team PUSH NC 2024

Markelle Massenburg
2024
6’2” G
Versatile guard with tons of potential as a lead ball-handler and defender. Has the ability to knock down shots consistently and finish around the rim with either hand. His facilitation and off-hand dribbling pounder pressure make him intriguing long-term.

Tymar Kearney
2024
6’3” G/F
Serves as the primary defender for this group against the opponent’s best perimeter scorer. Uses his strength and physicality to get to the rim and attack the basket. Has improved shot consistency significantly in the offseason.

Leslie Minter
2024
6’4” G/F
As a long-term prospect, has all the tools that could get him to the next level. Can shoot effectively out to the three-point line. Rebounds and defends well around the rim using his length. Is not done growing.

Owen Pedersen
2024
6’3” F
Ultimate glue guy for this roster. Willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win, particularly rebound and make the extra pass to open shooters. Has the ability to knock down shots out to three, and will increase offensive versatility throughout the summer.

Bryson Cousar
2024
6’1” G
Strong guard who can attack the basket consistently and score out to three. Most effective in the mid-range. Has improved ball handling throughout the off-season but with added confidence as a facilitator will help his prospects moving forward at the next level.
