The second day of our Tourney Town Showcase continued forward with a battle between Salisbury High School and Grimsley High School. Action got underway with Salisbury establishing the lead behind Juke Harris and their array of meaningful contributors. They led 13-6 after the opening eight minutes. In the second quarter, the offensive juices began flowing on both sides but Grimsley was unable to trim the deficit and entered halftime trailing 28-19. Following the break, the Hornets maintained their approach and continued to find success as a group. The Whirlies fought back to make things interesting, but Salisbury held tough to secure a 65-51 victory over Grimsley.
