Lady Phenom continues to highlight players around the region, and one young prospect down in South Carolina captured our eyes recently with her play. 2027 Ja'Nyia Cunningham is only a freshman but she is clearly proving that she is going to be a prospect worth watching and monitoring. Though it is early in the season, one can see that she brings a ton of production to the table, averaging 18.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, really blossoming down in the paint.
When we watched her operate and play her game, she really excelled in being a force down low. Finishing strong, having a strong feel for the game, good feel in the post and finishing through contact, and being a force on the boards, Cunningham has proven to be a force. Right now, she holds offers from Queens, South Carolina State, and Charleston Southern, but that list should only grow with what we saw on the court and her strong presence down low.
