The second day of our sixth annual Hoops and Dreams Showcase continued with a matchup between Trinity Christian and NC GBB. After thwarting their opponent yesterday, the Crusaders came out of the gate with passion and intensity. Their depth and overall balance allowed them to dictate the action for the opening two quarters, and enter halftime with a 48-26 lead. Following the break, NC GBB battled to shore up the deficit but had little success, as Trinity Christian extended their lead to 30 through three quarters. In the final period of play, the Crusaders continued to apply pressure to ultimately secure an 89-64 victory over NC GBB.
