Name: Carter Whitt
School: Wake Forest
Class: Freshman

2021-22: This past season, Whitt got a full season on his belt, playing in 31 games and starting three of them.  He averaged around 12 minutes of play and averaged 1.7 points per game, 1.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.3 steals per game.  He came in early to Winston-Salem, as he got a chance to play in 19 games and start 10 of them in 2020-21, averaging 22 minutes and 4.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

Coming out of high school, Whitt was considered a Top-150 point guard in the country and it was easy to see why when you talk about his vision, his IQ, and playmaking skills on the court.  When you go back and watch his highlights, Whitt has elite vision and a tremendous ability to get into the paint and makes plays for his teammates.  But then you have his ability to score from multiple levels as well.  He manages the game extremely well and is still a young prospect at the collegiate level.  Whitt is a true floor general, one you just want to have the ball in his hands and let him go to work.  That is why he should be highly looked at by college coaches.  And furthermore, he has a terrific attitude and is a tremendous young man off the court.
