2022 Jada Brigman from Olympic high school is coming off a terrific summer in which he competed with Team Curry. It was an opportunity to not only showcase more of her game but also to compete on some of the biggest stages with some of the premier talents around. She was able to fully take advantage of the opportunities that came her way, as she was not only able to create a bond with her teammates but also develop and show her game.

“It went well,” Brigman told Phenom Hoops about this summer. “I was able to make a lot of good friendships with my teammates, even though we were put in a very weird situation like COVID. I enjoyed playing with Coach Drakeford and overall, I feel like we had a pretty good season.”

“My game is very aggressive and passionate. I think I bring a lot of energy to each game I play. Whether or not I’m producing scoring-wise, my defense is great, vice versa, or both. My main way to impact the game is my defense.”

After a terrific freshman and sophomore season, Brigman has been continuing to work on her game and focusing on having a big junior campaign.

“My scoring would probably be the main thing,” she said. “I need to bring more to the game besides defense. I need to be the caliber player I know I am.”

Last season, Brigman averaged 13.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Now, being one of the leaders once again and after learning more this summer with Team Curry, she is looking to show her full game on the court. And schools are starting to express interest.

“I’ve been talking to some college,” Brigman said. “Campbell, UNCW, Charlotte, UNC-Asheville, and Charleston Southern; mainly they all want to continue to build a relationship with me and get to know me.”

Brigman will certainly be a name to remember this upcoming season around the Charlotte area at Olympic high school.
