Greetings HS hoops junkies from across the March Madness awaiting Piedmont! The Great One is here to release his final F5 of the season. Once again, the Western Regionals doubled as the Furious 5 Championship Tournament with North Meck prevailing over Lake Norman in OT, 65-61 behind Isaiah Evans. The now 704 legend scored 4 points in 12 seconds to force OT en route to the F5 Championship and a berth in the Ring Round of the state playoffs. The Vikings went on to down New Hanover in the title game, 57-47, behind Evans and JR Chadlyn Traylor. The Lakers will have the heat on them next season as they may very well be the top team in the 5 starting off next season. Another season is in the books but the Sadster has two teams’ seniors to salute for giving everyone good memories during their careers:
