Greetings HS hoops junkies from across the state tourney watching Piedmont!  The Sadster is here to reveal his picks for the Ring Round in the final two classes of 2A and 4A.  We begin with the 2A as Reidsville and Farmville Central collide in what should be a great matchup.  Farmville is led by seniors Hampton Evans and Tyler Whitehurst, as well as junior MJ Williams.  Undefeated Reidsville is led by a trio of underclassmen in sophomores Kendre Harrison and Diante Neal, and junior Johnniyus Sharpe.  This promises to be a highlight reel game but at the end of the day, The Great One sees a repeat champion in Farmville spoiling an undefeated season for the Rams.  In the 4A, North Meck is led by two seniors, McDonald’s All-American Isaiah Evans and Trey Maxwell, a junior in Chadlyn Traylor and sophomore Ashton Pierce.  Undefeated New Hanover is led by three juniors in Rodmik Allen, Nolan Billings and CJ Kornegay.  The Wildcats are 32-0 and are traditionally the Sadster’s favorite eastern team, however, the Ol’ Cubic Zirconia Ball (can’t afford crystal) sees the Vikings downing another group of Wildcats and a second perfect season ending on the same day.  To review, the state title winners will be…..

4A: NORTH MECK

2A: FARMVILLE CENTRAL

We will review the Ring Round games on Sunday and The Great One will release his QC 3A/4A yearly superlatives next week, including, but not limited to, the Hot Dog of the Year Award.  Stay tuned!!!!!
