2024 Antione Jones (Winston Hustlers)
The best and only way to describe Antione is a shot-maker. He couldn't be stopped and was in the zone all game. His intensity and scoring mindset led him through the first half finishing everything he got in the lane, and then he found his outside shot to really heat up in the second half. He scored a game high 35 and was given the keys to the offense down the stretch. He hit tough shots and put the nails in the coffin late as he pulled out a hard-fought win for his squad. He's coming off a strong sophomore season at Atkins where he led a young talented squad through a tough conference, and I expect to see more performances like this spring.

2025 Byron Arant-Coleman (Basketpoint)
Byron is extremely versatile in the way he attacks defenses. He truly isn't big, but he plays so tough and smart that he excels at filling the 4 man duty. His mid-range is automatic and he consistently gets looks for it with how he moves in the zone and turns to face the basket. He pieces together a very well-rounded game because he's also got the athleticism and physique to compete with anyone defensively as his team takes advantage of his ability to switch and guard 1-5. I just really enjoy watching him fill his role and lead in their system of small ball.

2023 Enzo Geremski (Winston 76ers)
Enzo is a guy who has no clearly defined role except that he gets done whatever his team needs and gets after it on both ends. He's a swiss army knife in a sense because he has the skills to score in bunches when he looks to, or he can set up others because he's also got good court vision and doesn't force things. He shines defensively, walling up and controlling the glass. He's really a guy that may have quietly killed you all game in various ways without you knowing it.

2026 Dionte Neal (CP3)
This is a young rising star at the point guard position that has already been making a name for himself. He and his squad are used to playing up and handle business with determination. As the floor general, he sets the tone handling the pressure and engineering the offense. Good things just happen with the ball in his hands as he's so creative off the bounce and also has the touch to finish when he's not dishing. He guided his team to the 15u championship in a commanding fashion and I expect them to collect a lot of trophies this season.
