2024 Josh Clark (Mavs Elite)
Just like the Energizer bunny, Josh just never seems to stop. His motor and hustle are practically unmatched, and personally speaking I don't know of anyone else who sprints the floor as hard as he does to get back on defense. And it's that work ethic along with his IQ that makes the game look easy. He puts it into simple measures, cutting hard, converting finishes all around, and working the system without getting impatient and forcing shots. Guys like this are easy to follow and fun to coach.

2023 Ryan Temple (Phenom ESA)
Ryan has impressed the last few weeks this fall, and his frame+feel combo are a big reason why. He matches the ideal wings at the next level's landscape, about 6'6 with natural mobility, a commendable three point shot, and the ability to react off closeouts to drive and find his own looks with a comfortable pullup. I know it's a tough conference for the Huskies, but I think this team is set up with the likes of him, McCormick, and Smith to be a sleeper and surprise some folks.

2025 James Carswell (Huntersville Knights)
When looking at young guys, their initial way of getting on the court is by defending, and anything else they give you is surplus. James fits that profile with a pretty clear 3 and D identity right now. He's long with great awareness and reflexes rotating over in help side and seemingly always interrupting the offensive flow. And on offense he slides into his role, waiting for his spot ups and cashing in when given clean looks. This 2025 class at LNC is giving signs to be something special.

2023 Isaiah Tate (Edoka's Eagles)
While there are several candidates, Isaiah has arguably been the top guard this fall in the West division. He's transcending his play right now through a seemingly sixth sense of knowing what defenders are gonna do. He's anticipating moves and making guys react to him, the sign of a true playmaker. It's been hard to be anything other than impressed with the total package he's displayed offensively through stellar outside shooting, crafty finishing and schematic commanding of the action. He's setting himself up for a huge senior year with the Big 3 they have in him, Moore and Pinner.
