It was Championship Sunday and that only means that teams were going to go home with some hardware. It had been a tremendous event and the players and coaches really came out to compete, but only a few teams could go home with a trophy.
The battle between these two teams was heated… The players were into it, the coaches were going back and forth, and the fans were on their feet. This was championship battle between two teams on top throughout the region, as Team Charlotte 2022 and Team Loaded VA battle it out. It was a back-and-forth affair throughout, both teams trading baskets for much of the game early on. Second half came along and it was Team Charlotte that started to take the narrow edge, led by one of their leaders in Trey Green.
Team Charlotte was able to eventually hold on to that narrow lead, making some big buckets late and holding on 73-66.
