2026 6’7 Jordan Buzzard (CP3):

Buzzard is such an intriguing prospect with how he can operate and impact the game. He presents a natural understanding and feel at many positions, displaying a tremendous skillset and feel in being a presence in the paint and on the boards. He is also comfortable stepping out to knock down shots from outside. Buzzard is a versatile piece that can be used in an array of ways.

2026 6’6 Robert Nyamongo (Basketpoint):

A young big that we wrote about, Nyamongo is a true prospect who has legitimate size down in the paint and was able to flourish around the basket game after game. He brings a physical feel and frame, can finish through contact, and shows nice touch around the basket, while also carving out space on the boards.  I’m eager to see how he continues and his next journey.

2028 Chase Smith (Cota Elite):

We have written a lot about Smith over the last year or so, and he continues to remind us that this is a young man who has a ton of potential. I will be interested to see how he continues to develop and grow, but the early skillset is all there. His fluidity with his frame is so intriguing, displaying a smooth release in facing up to knock down shots, battling down in the paint well, and being a strong presence defensively as well in the paint.

2025 6’5 Lincoln Jackson (NC Spartans):

Just like his brother, you know what you will get from Jackson when he steps on the court. The 6’4 forward plays with a ton of energy and grit, embracing physicality, imposing how strong he can be against opponents, and his willingness to do the dirty work down low. Jackson just outworks many, scoring strong through defenders with touch while also bruising opponents on the boards. You can’t help but love the energy that he plays with.

2025 6’6 Jackson Powers (NC Rise):

I like to call him Mr. Double-Double, as he continues to be a big that can fill up the stat line. Jackson is one that has a good feel for the game and makes himself a big presence down in the paint. He can be effective in scoring around the basket, finishing with touch, and over defenders but is also just as comfortable in stepping out to stretch the floor with his shot.  He mixes it up well and competes really well on the boards. Should be attracting more eyes this summer.

2026 6’6 Josiah Pratt (Team ISH):

Pratt is a forward out of West Meck who brings a lot of intrigue and could be an under-the-radar type player to look out for more. With Team Ish, he was able to showcase more of his impact on both ends, defending the rim, battling down in the paint, and altering shots. Offensively though, he ran the floor really well, and was able to flourish as a strong finisher with good length and touch. He had a strong season with consistency this past year, averaging 8ppg, 8rpg, and 4bpg.
