Winners Shine In The Brightest Lights

What a day of basketball at the Carmel Tip-Off on Day 1, and the biggest moment was when 2025 Eli Ellis for Moravian Prep rose up just another time in the biggest of moments and drilled the game-winning three to secure the victory against TBS. Ellis, time after time, continues to prove doubters wrong and proves once again why he is one of the best players in the country. Winners always want the ball in their hands when the game is on the line, and Ellis continues to be a cold-blooded killer on the court and did so on the biggest stage.

North Carolina was introduced to 2027 King Gibson

There was a ton of talent on the court, but there was one player who introduced himself in a big way on the biggest stage. We have spotlighted 2027 King Gibson on several occasions, but the freshman prospect showed everyone why he is regarded as one of the top freshmen in the country, and now everyone should start learning his name.

Forsyth Country Day and Northside Christian make a statement

Two teams that made a statement to start the season were Forsyth Country Day and Northside Christian. FCDS looks like a much stronger team, with a year under their belt and the addition of 2024 Bobby Cannon. This team looks locked in, focused, and ready to prove that they can compete for a title this year. Northside Christian was also impressive, as they were all over the court, created a ton of havoc defensively, and excelled in transition. Both programs put a strong showing early on in the season, and we shall see if they can build upon it.
