2023 Brock Rose (Ardrey Kell): Even though it has been a tough week overall for Ardrey Kell, Rose should have opened more eyes about his play. Rose continues to be a lethal weapon for his team, especially with his pull-up game and ability to score in catch-and-shoot situations. He moves exceptionally well without the ball to get to his spots and has an extremely quick release, and does a great job in getting to his spots for his mid-range game. H was knocking down shots with a ton of confidence on Day 3.

2023 Steven Lassiter/ 2024 Josh Randolph (The Burlington School): Lassiter and Randolph were two key pieces for their team on Day 3. Both are long prospects, standing around 6’7 or so, and they do a nice job in mixing up what they can provide on the court. Both can stretch the court with their perimeter shots, create off the dribble, and also finish over defenders as well as help on the boards. Both run the floor well in transition as well; two playmaking long prospects that can operate from an array of areas.

2023 Ollie Alford (West Charlotte): Alford has played extremely well this week for West Charlotte, being one of the clear leaders to step up for his team. He did so once again on Day 3, doing an excellent job of showing just how tough he can be. Whether it was attacking and getting into the paint, pulling up for his shot, facilitating to his teammates, pushing the pace, playing hard defensively, or helping on the boards, Alford just does so much for his team.

2024 JJ Moore (Concord Academy): Once again, it was the play of their point guard JJ Moore, who was filling it up and doing it all on the court to help his team. He can be electric on the court with his speed and playmaking ability, weaving through the defense, displaying his creativity and ability to score around/over defenders, but also showcase his extreme competitiveness in other areas. Moore was scoring, facilitating, and filling up the stat sheet.

2023 Jermaine Gray (JM Robinson): Was really impressed overall with what Robinson showed, especially the team being led by Gray. Gray is such a competitor on the court, as he does a little bit of everything on the court. Whether it was getting to his open spots to score, being physical and finishing around the basket. Really like his versatility and overall impact, whether scoring, on the boards, or filling it up in other areas.

2023 Alex Bates (United Faith): Bates was off the charts today with his game, scoring from all levels on the floor, knocking down shots from all three levels, being a force with his offensive game, and finishing at the rim. Bates made some terrific and tough baskets, knocking down jumpers through contact, and doing a great job out in space to find his shot and score with range.

2024 Chase Daniel (Central Cabarrus): Daniel was fun to watch, and much like he has shown on several other occasions, Daniel was an absolute playmaker on the court. Weaving through traffic, creating extremely well off the dribble, finishing well but also setting up his teammates extremely well at times. Tremendous footwork from the guard and battles every possession.

2024 Jaeden Mustaf (Carmel Christian): Mustaf continues to make a staple here in North Carolina. What is so intriguing about Mustaf’s game is that even when you know what he is going to do, you can not stop him. He gets where he wants, does what he wants, and finishes extremely well around the basket. But his overall impact and leadership is quite impressive, as he continues to be the leader of the pack for this team.

2023 Bryce Cash (Carmel Christian): Gets tiring in letting people know about Cash; just let his game do the talking. He did that on Day 3 in leading the charge, as he checked off nearly every box you can think of. Knocking down shots from behind the arc, finishing at the rim, being a terror on defense, physically imposing on the boards, and just being a leader on the floor. ANother excellent showing from the senior.

2024 Austin Swartz (Cannon): Even though Swartz’s team came up short, he did everything he could to help his team. Swartz simply as the ability to make and create for himself, creating and getting inside to finish or get to the line, or his elite ability to knock down shots from behind the arc. No matter where he is on the floor, he is making plays for himself or for teammates. Really impressed with his court awareness once again and seeing the entire floor for his teammates.
