2022 6'5 Tim Vaughn (Chattanooga Elite Grey 17u)

Vaughn impressed me this morning with more than one skill set today. He came out of the gate getting to the rim with ease and finishing in transition. As the game went on he began to show a more versatile skill set. He started knocking down deep balls off the catch and off the bounce whether he had a hand in his face or not.

2023 6'7 Khali Horton (Wildcat Select 3SSB)

Horton is a skilled player with a variety of weapons to help his team. You can catch him in the paint battling it out, grabbing boards, and getting second chances points, or catch him on the perimeter hitting open 3's from pick and pops or drifting out to the corner when guards drive. He's got a long frame in which he uses to his advantage to get blocks and make it difficult for the offense to score over him. He also knows how to get defenders in the air and draw contact to get to the line.

2022 6'4 Aaron Murphy (Garner Road Bulldogs T. West)

One of the pieces that impressed me the most about Murphy's game is his communication and leadership. Whether he's on the court or on the bench, he's always talking and pointing guys in the right direction. He's a strong guard with composed ball handling and great vision. He's really good at finding his teammates spotted up cross-court and seems to always find a way to deliver the pass. His main scoring ability seems to be getting downhill and using his size to muscle his way to the rim.

2022 7'0 Wesley Johnson (Garner Road Bulldogs T. West)

Johnson is a player with great size and knows how to use it in the paint, as well as on the perimeter. When he's inside, he battles for boards and second-chance points using his long wingspan and towering height. He's really good in catch-and-shoot scenarios and with the high release that he has, it makes it difficult for defenders to block.

2022 7'0 Micah Handlogten (Upward Stars Southeast 3SSB 17u)

Anybody looking for a big who can do it all should be looking Handlogten's way. He can stretch the floor and attack from the wings, or catch the ball down low and go to work. His 7'0 frame allows him to get lots of second-chance points. He's a rebounding machine on both ends as well. I like the fact that he doesn't shy away from contact but instead goes straight through it.
