A player that introduced himself to Phenom Hoops back at the Tennessee Phenom 150 is showing to be an early critical piece for his team as a young prospect. 2022 6’1 Brevin Klym showed out at the Phenom 150 just months ago and is continuing to show how he can be a knockdown shooter for his high school program.
At the Phenom 150, Jamie Shaw had this to say:
“Not only was Klym the best shooter at the Tennessee Phenom 150, on this day he was the best shooter we have had at any Phenom camp this year. Not only was he dead-eye off the catch, but he showcased a little stuff to his game with his ability to get open and act as a functional secondary ball-handler in the half-court. He played with a swagger, within himself for sure, but with the ability to make the crowd rise to its feet. Klym knocked in, at least, four three’s each game, most of which didn’t touch the net. This was about as good of a first viewing as you could have of a player, being he is only a sophomore, we are very excited about what he does moving forward.”
Still a young prospect, Klym is coming off the bench at Frankling, averaging around 12 minutes per game but is showing that he still holds that sweet shooting stroke from deep. Here are just a few video clips of his game early on this season.
