6'4' 2017 Alex Reed
Garner High School

Somehow Reed is still available. It blows our mind, as we watch him play ' check that as we watch him dominate the competition in each game he plays. Reed not only produces, but he wins.

Reed has been a starter for Garner's varsity program since his freshman year. Through his first 3 games this season Reed has amassed a 77-12 record and already recorded 11 playoff wins and a state championship. As we mentioned before, Alex Reed wins.

During his junior campaign, Reed scored 13.5 points and added 9 boards per game. Already during his senior season (through 3 games) Reed is averaging over 20 points and 10 boards per game. He is relentless on the court, aggressive both on offense and defense. He is also an explosive, and very strong rebounder.

After watching him play at Phenom's Summer Jam this year Jason Porter wrote,''Let me start off by saying that this kid is one of my favorite players to watch in the RDU region in his class. His combination of motor and versatility is just hard to beat in the class in my opinion. Whatever you need him to be on any given night he can be it. Need him to go clean the glass' He's got you. Need him to light it up' Just hand him the rock. Need him to defend the other teams best player, regardless of position' Please! Kid can do whatever is needed out on the floor. Shot selection and lack of position hurts him some but when get a guy who can ball like he can you worry less about what position he will play and more about just getting him on the floor. Love watching this kid work.'

Reed carries an offer from Western Carolina and is getting interest from Radford and Campbell. Reed wins, Reed produces, Reed should be courted by numerous Division 1 prospects.
