Another championship Sunday here for Phenom Hoops, this time at the Phenom Summer Finale. The talent was off the charts and players came to compete for some bragging rights and some championship gear on the line.
Heading to the 16u division, two very-well ran organizations duked it out to be crowned champions in Rock Hill, as Carolina Bad Boyz and Team HOPE Laney battled it out on the floor. A very intriguing matchup, as both teams played extremely hard and left it out on the court. Team HOPE though was able to jump out to an early lead by halftime. But the Bad Boyz started to pick away at the lead, cutting it down to a basket or two in the second half. But Team HOPE responded each time to never give up the lead late and took home the championship win.
