What a way to end the summer here at the Phenom Rise Showcase. Teams came to compete and fans got a treat, as the competition was off the charts and bragging rights were on the line. It was Championship Sunday and teams wanted nothing but to leave with some hardware.
As the day was coming to a close, we went down to the 16u Division Championship between CB Hoops and All Carolina. Both teams fought hard to be here and it seemed like this was going to be just another championship battle in Advance. That it was! All Carolina came out strong getting most of their players on the scoreboard to help go out to a 29-20 halftime lead. But the play of McCaskill Rivers and company in the second half allowed CB Hoops to slowly climb back in. However, the deficit was too much to overcome late and with a strong performance by Collin Tanner and others in the second half, All Carolina came away with the win.
