What a way to end the summer here at the Phenom Rise Showcase. Teams came to compete and fans got a treat, as the competition was off the charts and bragging rights were on the line. It was Championship Sunday and teams wanted nothing but to leave with some hardware.
Now in the 15u Division, the Triad Hornets and Carolina Clutch looked to finish off a terrific and hard-fought weekend with a championship but only one could come away with the win. Both teams came out strong but it was the balanced attack from the Hornets that allowed them to earn the halftime lead 30-23. That attack continued in the second half, getting several players involved and finding success from outside, while also getting it done defensively.
