Diving More into His Game:
Another event, another productive weekend for the 2024 6'5 prospect in Ryan Blount. When you truly sit down and watch this young man, Blount is one that won't blow you away with all the flash, but he will be the one putting in the work on the court. Super productive, physical, hard-working, smart, and always engaged, Blount is a player that I truly believe college coaches need to look at and will be impressed with the mindset that he brings to the table. You can see that he wants to outwork his opponents and will do what is needed for his team to win. He isn't the biggest prospect, but he plays bigger than listed. Blount does an exceptional job in being a force around the basket, whether it is being physical and finishing, attacking the boards for second-chance opportunities, or finding ways to get to the line. But he also does a great job in putting the ball on the deck, finding ways to put the ball in the hoop, and being able to score from multiple levels.
I'm going to say it here… with what I've seen on the floor from this young man, college coaches need to be looking and paying attention a lot more to this young man.
