We continue around the state of North Carolina, checking into gyms to get a glimpse of what teams will be bringing this upcoming high school season.  Recently, we went to Charlotte Catholic to see what they may have.  They have some very nice pieces that you may have already heard of and a few new names that should be receiving more attention.  Let's dive into the roster.

Young Bigs
Charlotte Catholic have two big men that college coaches will certainly want to take a look at. 2023 6'7 Patrick Tivnan is the first one to glance at and is coming off a great summer.  Tivnan has great feet, a strong build, and the ability to create for himself as well as use his frame to body down low and help on the boards.  2025 6'8 Chris Eagan is another young prospect, as the freshman has terrific footwork for someone his age, along with the length and skillset that will attract your eyes.  Both will be key products for this team this year and can be used in an array of ways.

Leaders on the floor
There are two guards that really captured my eyes during the open gym.  2022 Josh Williams, a 5'10 point guard, played extremely well and should be one that coaches check out.  The small guard is an absolute worker on the court and puts in the hours to get better. He can defend, know down hots from multiple levels, and really create well off the dribble.  Williams is a shifty guard that plays with an edge to him.  2022 5'11 Peter Rossitch is another one that impressed. Rossitch has a strong feel and plays extremely hard, not shying away from contact and will absolutely battle with anyone on the floor.  He is one that coaches would love to have.  He excels well with his pull-up game but also is afraid to get the ball on the rim and scrap on the floor either.

Others playing a key role
2022 6'1 Kevin Williams is a sturdy prospect that can impact the floor in an array of ways. He can defend multiple positions, helps on the boards, can play physical at times, but also can step out and knock down shots.  2023 Angelo Alexander is another smaller guard that is quick and shifty with the ball in his hands.  He did a terrific job in getting others involved and seeing the floor to find open shots.  Lastly, 2023 6'5 Vaughn Thomas is an intriguing prospect with his length, his skillset, and ability to step out as well as create off the dribble. Thomas is one that can create a lot of mismatches with his versatility on the floor, especially with his long, wiry frame.
