Phenom Hoops hit the road once again on Tuesday, heading down to the Rock Hill area to check in on Legion Collegiate, as they were welcoming United Faith into the building.  Looking to get a better look at the talent, it was Legion Collegiate that made a statement and made it quick, jumping out to a double-digit lead within the first few minutes.  They showcased swarming defense and attacked whenever they could, helping them get out big by halftime, 45-0.

With the game looking to be out of reach, Legion was able to get their bench in and allow others to play as they ultimately cruised to the win on Tuesday night, 66-4.

Standouts/ Thoughts:

  • We are telling you now… watch out for the duo freshmen guards that Legion Collegiate has on the floor. 2025 Serenity Woods and 2025 Aubrey Stevenson are two very skilled guards on the floor and they are only starting their story in high school.  Woods came out quick to showcase her confident jumper from multiple levels, really giving us a glimpse that she can be a big threat with range.  Stevenson is a very skilled, crafty guard that is fluid with the ball in her hands.  She made so many plays in finding her teammates but also being a scoring threat.  Both guards have a great IQ and feel for the game, being that they are only freshmen.
