Game 3 on the day here in Morganton (NC), Maiden and South Caldwell got in on the action at the Phenom Freedom 828 Showcase.  In front of a solid crowd, both teams looked to come out strong and make a statement.  Maiden was able to secure the narrow lead after the first quarter, using their size and length to their advantage; they continued to build upon that lead heading into halftime, leading by double digits.  South Caldwell struggled offensively with shots falling consistently, finding themselves down 25-13.

Second half though, South Caldwell was able to knock down more shots and start chipping away at the lead but Maiden would find answers each time. 2025 Raheim Misher was the go-to guy for much of the game, but others stepped up as well offensively, scoring inside and out.  South Caldwell would never go away and continue to fight in the fourth quarter, keeping it mostly in reach but they were never able to get over the hump, as Maiden secured the
