Indiana visit was 'crazy' for 2025 Trey McKenney, other schools staying strong

2025 Trey McKenney is regarded as one of the top players in the country for his class, and several schools are making him a priority early on. One school that has been looking at him has been Indiana, and the 2025 guard recently took a visit to the program as the Hoosiers took on North Carolina.

'It was crazy, the atmosphere there is crazy, the fans just love their basketball,' McKenney told Phenom Hoops. 'I went to walkthrough before the game earlier then came back for the game. I talked with the staff a lot.'

McKenney says he has been in touch with Indiana frequently, as his main contact has been from Assistant Coach Brian Walsh. 'Coach Walsh checks up on me every other week and asks how I'm doing.'

As far as other schools that have been staying strong with him, McKenney would say Cincinnati, UCLA, and Tennessee are programs that stay consistently in touch.

2024 Jacob Theodosiou enjoys visit to Dayton, continuing to build a relationship

Theodosiou, a 2024 point guard from Western Reserve Academy, recently took another visit to Dayton last week and he currently holds an offer from them as well. He was able to take in and visit more about the school, talk to the coaching staff again, and watch the Flyers take down Western Michigan; Theodosiou says the visit was amazing.

'They really showed me everything they had to offer,' Theodosiou told Phenom Hoops. 'I got to meet the whole support staff and see the campus. I have a great relationship with the whole staff. One thing I like that they do differently than most is that not just one specific coach has recruited me, it has been the whole staff. I was able to build strong relationships with all of them, even before stepping on campus.'

Theodosiou will be taking a few more visits down the road, as he will be visiting St. Joseph's on December 17th, and he is working on visits to Villanova and VCU.

Two 2024 North Carolina prospects make recent visits

2024 Isaiah Evans and 2024 Sir Mohammed are two of the top players in their class and certainly have the attention of college programs around the country. Both of them made recent visits to programs in the last week, as Evans took the trip recently to Duke as the Blue Devils took on Ohio State and Mohammed made a visit over the weekend to Villanova.

Programs taking notice of 2025 Kaleb Evans early; visits Clemson

A young prospect in South Carolina to keep an eye on is 2025 Kaleb Evans from Lexington high school, as he could be the next prospect to catch the attention of college programs. The guard has already earned some strong interest from schools early on that including College of Charleston, Colorado, South Carolina, Appalachian State, and Winthrop, and he also just recently made a visit to Clemson. They are a program that has been staying in touch, but Evans really enjoyed seeing what the Tigers had to offer.

'I got down there a little late and they had a game that night, so I saw a little bit of the campus like the dorms, football field, weight room, and practice gym. I also talked to Coach Brownell and met a couple of the players. They stay in contact with my family and me, and they have come down to see me at Lexington twice already.'
