Another weekend of championships was going on all Sunday afternoon, as teams were looking to finish off the event in style and on top. All teams came in to compete but only a few could come away with some hardware.
We had another thriller on our hands and our first overtime championship game, and with the first team to get two points wins, anything can go. But overall, this was a back-and-forth tight game with the crowd and players into the entire time. Both teams made runs and played high-level, championship basketball. Celtics were led by Braulin Thomas, who finished with 21 points in all while Gage Lattimore and company stepped up for Carolina Clutch. As we went into overtime, it was ultimately decided on the tip, as the Carolina Clutch delivered a terrific ball that ultimately fell into the hands of Lattimore who sealed the win quickly. What a game and what an ending in this one.
