Northside was off to a slow start early on having Charlotte Christian Day leading 4-13 in the first quarter. Later in the 1st Northside picked it up but CCD still led the charge at the end, 16-10. To start the second, it was an aggressive back-and-forth battle between the two teams on both offense and defense. Northside came back from a thin lead created by CCD, later in the second quarter to take the lead by 1. To finish the half Christian country day took the lead back by 2, 34-32.
After halftime, the teams continued to go head-to-head battling on both sides of the floor. Northside went on a little run midway through the quarter to get a 3-point lead over CCD. To finish the quarter Northside led by 1 point over CCD, 44-43. An exciting fourth quarter in which the lead flip-flopped between teams early on. Northside went on a run to take the lead up to 6 points midway through the fourth. CCD fought hard to come back but it wasn’t enough to pull out the win over northside, 66-59 finish.
