At the Teammates Nationals at the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Phenom Hoops were able to check out Next Level Basketball Prospects (NLBP) coached by John Mobley. This is a team that composed of young players from the western part of North Carolina. NLPB has a unique blend of size, length, skill and athleticism.

In the impressive opening day win, NLPB is a fun, entertaining, and very talented team. They play well together and plays as a team Leading the way is 5’8 2023 PG Kennan Wilkens. The silky smooth guard combines a team first approach along with the ability to knock down timely 3-pointers. Wilkens tossed in 10 points including two 3-pointers.

6’0 2023 Caleb Senyo has gotten much bigger and stronger since we last watched him in the fall. Senyo is a tough, “do it all” type player that patiently awaits his opportunities to score, but his grit and overall toughness really impressed us. Senyo finished with nine points.

Next up is 6’1 2023 Brock Adams. Adams may just be the team’s glue guy. We were impressed with his ability to go both directions equally well and although he shoots right handed, he is exceptional going left and has terrific court vision and passing. Adams finished with seven points.

It’s hard to believe 6’8 2024 Brayden Crump is only a rising freshman. Crump has an advanced skill set that is beyond his age and grade. He has passer friendly hands, nifty footwork in the post, but also can step out and knock down 3-pointers with consistency. Crump finished with 16 points including two 3-pointers.

6’9 2023 Addison Archer continued to showcase a blend of athleticism, shot blocking ability, but more importantly the ability to run the floor, and score with ease. Archer finished with 15 points, but provided spectators just a glimpse of his long term upside and potential.
