1A Division

Cresset Christian vs. Northside Christian Academy

What to Watch:

Cresset Christian:
When you talk about this team, you have to have your eyes on the two freshmen who have played extremely well this season. Kyndoll English and Trinity Jefferson have both been averaging 19ppg this season, but this is such a unique team with so many freshmen playing at a high level. Will they be able to rise to the occasion in a big way to secure a title? This could be the start of something special if so.

Northside Christian:
JaKaila Gaskin, a 6’3 eighth grader, will be the one I have my eyes on in this matchup. Her blend of scoring impact and size makes this extremely tough, and she can be a force on both sides of the court. Nearly averaging a double-double, she has a chance to really control the game down in the paint for her team.

2A Division

O’Neal School vs. Wayne Country Day

What to Watch:

O’Neal School:
When you talk about this team, this is a team that brings a strong balance to the court and can score the ball effectively offensively. But what I will be eager to see is how well this team performs defensively, as they have only given up more than 35 points five times this season. This is an extremely strong team defensively, and we shall see if they can continue that defensive intensity.

Wayne Country Day:
The 2026 prospect has been leading the way all season long, and Wayne Country Day will need 2026 Jada Vanderhorst to step up offensively once again. Also looking at 2026 Madison Smith, a 6’1 prospect that has been racking up double-doubles as of late this season.

3A Division

Grace Christian vs. HP Christian

What to Watch

Grace Christian:
There is no doubt about it, when you’re talking about Grace Christian you have to talk about the top player in the country in 2024 Sarah Strong. She was dominant last year on her way to a title, and there is no doubt that she will be looked at as the go-to player again in hopes of yet another state championship.

HP Christian:
On the other side of the court, 2025 Kylie Torrence has been leading the charge impressively and really racking up the stats this season. She is averaging 20ppg, 10rpg, 3spg, and 2bpg, really making her presence on both ends. Going up against a team like Grace Christian, she will need to have one of her best games in hopes of leading the way to a title.

4A Division

Cannon vs. Providence Day

What to Watch:

Cannon:
If you don’t know the name yet, you should start learning about her now as 2027 Madison Drayton is one of the top freshmen in the state and has been leading the charge impressively.
