Final game of the night on the boy’s side, as Carmel Christian and Christ School matched up in a packed house. Two of the top teams in the state were looking to end the year on top and with a title, as Christ School was the first to make the first punch. Christ School was able to get out in transition and found success offensively early on to take the first-quarter lead, but Carmel Christian led by Jaeden Mustaf started to chip away. Mustaf scored 11 first-half points, as Carmel Christian was able to cut the deficit to three by halftime, as Christ School led 25-22.

In the second half, the same energy was there for both teams. Christ School was able to get to easy baskets early on but Carmel Christian answered right back, picking up on defense, creating havoc in the third, and eventually took the lead around the three-minute mark. From then on, it would be a back-and-forth affair for the lead, with Christ School eventually taking the 35-34 lead at the end of the third.
