Greensboro Day and Concord Academy were up next at Forsyth Country Day, as this was a rematch of a game at the Carmel Tip-Off, as that one ended up going into overtime.  Now, this one was for a state title, as these two teams have proven themselves all year long. Greensboro Day came out strong on both ends, really creating havoc defensively and making plays offensively. It is what helped them to a 15-5 first-quarter lead, but Concord Academy turned it up in the second quarter both offensively and defensively.  It is what turned a double-digit deficit into a lead in the second quarter and eventually took a 25-23 halftime lead. JJ Moore led the way for Concord Academy, while Reid Carrier was hitting shots in the first half from three.

In the third quarter, Greensboro Day came out strong led by Jaydon Young and company.  GDS was able to regain the lead and hold onto that at the end of the third quarter, leading 39-35.  Fourth quarter, Avion Pinner started to really take over for Concord and step up offensively, but Jaydon Young answered right back to help the Bengals hold onto that lead late in the fourth quarter.

This game came right down to the wire, as Jaydon Young and Avion Pinner were going back and forth.  Young made a big basket late to give them the two-point lead, and JJ Moore had a chance to tie it up late from the free-throw line, but only made one of two.  Concord fouled to put Young at the line, and after making one of two as well, Concord had one last chance but came up short with the Bengals earning the victory and taking home yet another title.
