The top seed overall went to Victory Christian, a school that has been here before and is hoping this year they can get back to the championship game. There is no doubt about it that they challenged themselves all year long against tough opponents, but they hope to get back on track on the winning side quickly as they prepare for a title run. 2024 Deborah Orianegbena has led the way, nearly averaging a double-double, but this is a balanced group overall in hopes of a championship.
Team to Watch For:
Northside Christian should be on everyone’s radar after taking home the title this year and sitting at the No. 2 seed overall. They have good talent overall that could easily get them back to a championship. But I’m looking at Ridgecroft, who sits undefeated on the season. They are led by 2024 Makenzie Slaughter and 2027 Hannah Slaughter, both of which are having strong seasons and showing their versatility. Could these two, along with several other sophomores, step up and finish the season undefeated?
