Midday Standouts at NC Phenom 150 Camp

#41 5’11 2019 Kameron Ross- Mallard Creek High School (Charlotte NC)

Quick guard who pushed the ball up the court before defense could set and made a living in the midrange area. Really got after it on the defensive end of the court which led to steals and assists.

#64 6’0 2020 Landon Sutton – High Point Christian (High Point NC)

Shot the ball well ended the game with 32 points. Really impressed with how when he got ran off the 3 point line he was able to get to hit spots for one dribble pulls ups.

#74 6’1 2020 Justin Stephens – Corinth Holders High School (Clayton NC)

Athletic wing who if saw any kind of angle he was going to get there and finish was able to make two 3’s off catch and shoot situations.  In my opinion was one of the better guards in attendance.

#92 6’2 2021 Levar Strange- Piedmont Classical High (Elon NC)

Strange is a guy who got after it on the defensive end of the court played extremely hard and is very vocal. When he was tasked to guard the other team best player he made sure to limit his touches. In transition was hard to stop used his size and strength very well to get easy points at the rim.

#117 6’3 2021 Jalen Walker- Fellowship Baptist Academy (Durham NC)

Jalen is a run jump athlete with developing skills seemed too always be in the right place at the right time.  Slim kid who played both forward positions was able to use length to alter shots and shoot over smaller defenders at the free throw line.

#129 6’4 2020 Andrew Budzinski- Bishop McGuinness High School

Andrew has one gear and that’s all out and didn’t finish until his tank was on E. Andrew guarded 1-5 was able to get numerousrebounds and put backs for points also used pump fakes to create space to finish over taller defenders.

#165 6’7 2020 Luke Davis- Wesleyan Christian Academy (Winterville NC)

Wesleyan got them a steal in Luke, he rebound everything in his area even what wasn’t. Stretch 4 man who knocked down multiple threes and is looking to dunk on everyone even his own teammates. Will be one of the better 2020 kids in NC.
