Windle is an extremely athletic and fierce competitor who always performs at a high level and is a proven leader and winner. He is a scoring machine and a beast on the boards. He also is a big-time 3-point shooter with a career 40 percent average. It is a thing of beauty to behold with a silky-smooth touch.
Over the summer I watched him develop into a dominant inside force that will battle through contact to get rebounds and put-backs. He gobbled boards with the best out there; Windle is gritty and tough that’s the most considerable improvement I saw over the summer. He averaged a double-double constantly in scoring and rebounding; don’t sleep on his defense either. Also saw him become a physical force as well, making it tough on opposing players.
His nice footwork, strength, and speed were undeniable. He improved his timing defensively. Follow that right up with three games of 20+ points and a minimum of 12 rebounds setting the stage for a monster season.
Last season he averaged 22.6pts, 8.8rebs, 2.1asts, 1.3 stls, and 1blk per game. You can bet this season will be the best yet. He was All-State last year and I expect nothing less this year. He was All-Region and district MVP. For his school, Windle is first in career points, second in career rebounds, and first in career 3-point percentage. He scored 775 points and snatched 800 rebounds.
This year, he is dreaming of state championship and Windle will lead them well. Coaches should know this star comes to work every minute of every game and with a warrior mentality, he won’t back down from any challenge and will do that dirty work inside to impact every game. You have to get to Maryville and catch this team this season they are going to be special.
