Player: Kameron Taylor
Class: 2024
School: Carmel Christian

There are so many storylines coming from the Carmel Tip-Off this past weekend, as well as many players seeing their stock rise and leaving an impression on our scouts.  But we may have to say that the biggest stock riser that we may have had at the event was 2024 Kameron Taylor from Carmel Christian.

Taylor is a long prospect that was at Olympic last year but is now making waves at Carmel Christian. In Game 1 of the event, Taylor posted 22 points and 10 rebounds for Carmel, and then backed it up in impressive fashion with 29 points and 10 rebounds; talk about filling it up. Taylor has flown a bit under the radar but from what we saw at the event, he is ready to see his stock rise in a big way.

There is so much to like when you talk about his game; he has grown even bigger since the last time we saw him and is showing his full potential in what he provides (as well as upside). Taylor has a unique blend of length/size as well as athleticism in his game, which makes him even more intriguing to watch. He is strong out in transition and high-flying around the basket, creating off the bounce and attacking downhill, and providing energy with a few big-time throwdowns. But he also shows that he can bring balance and knock down shots outside, being a versatile piece defensively, and competes hard on the boards as well.

It is why schools like Chattanooga, Radford, Chicago State, and UNCG have all offered, but in speaking with Taylor more, schools like Marshall, Appalachian State, South Carolina, and Winthrop have all shown interest.
