6'4 King Gibson (The Burlington School)

It should probably go without saying, but King Gibson should be as impactful as any freshman in the state. Not only does he possess a ton of talent, but the 6-foot-4 wing is entering a situation tailored for his development. Gibson is long, explosive, and well-rounded with the ability to consistently make his presence felt on both ends of the floor. He can already find opportunities with or without the ball in his hands, and understands how to assert himself in various ways. After winning the Made Hoops circuit and being named MVP, it feels like it's just the beginning for Gibson. Folks should expect him to be a difference-maker from day one.

6'4 Keyonee Terry (South Granville)

Likely more under-the-radar than others featured in these lists, Keyonee Terry is a prospect that more people should start getting to know. He's already a long, fluid wing prospect with great size and instincts on both ends of the floor. Terry is athletic, yet also possesses a lot of IQ and skill for this stage in his development. He breaks down opponents with relative ease, touches the paint at a consistent rate, and finishes or sets up teammates for scoring chances. Terry displays great vision (and unselfishness) as a passer, but can also apply scoring pressure from all levels. He’s a willing rebounder and versatile defender. Expect him to emerge as the next prospect from South Granville.

6'5 Jagger Emerson (Greensboro Day)

Given everything he's shown over the last calendar year, it feels like plenty of folks should already know about Jagger Emerson. For those who don't, he's a long, skilled wing/forward with an impressive array of tools. Emerson already scores the ball at a quality rate from all levels, showing great balance between applying pressure as a spot-up threat, attacking closeouts, and creating for others. He's capable of playing without the ball, initiating the offense, or creating off the bounce. Emerson utilizes his length well to rebound and defend bigger players. Given the Bengals' consistent success, folks should anticipate Emerson producing while steadily developing over the coming years.
