Moving on to Game 3, Laney and Jordan really brought a ton of energy and the offense with them as they were both aggressive and got things going. Jordan fell behind at the end of the first quarter 17-13, but Zion Wells had a strong first half, being the most effective scoring option through inside and out.  For Laney though, they were able to expand on their lead in the second quarter, attacking and getting into the paint, creating off the dribble, and also having success from behind the arc. Laney was really able to get points around the basket, creating and finishing in the second quarter, which allowed them to hold a 33-25 halftime lead.

Jordan was able to chip away at the lead in the third and eventually make it a one-possession game with under a minute to go. Jordan, down by three with 20 seconds, had a chance but Ross came up short to cut the lead down to one. After going 1-for-2 from the line, Ross hit a long three with 1.4 seconds remaining to go. It was enough to seal the 63-61 victory at the Hoops & Dreams Showcase.
