Getting to Know: 6'4 2021 Aaron Randolph (Westside HS, SC)

Aaron Randolph put up modest numbers for this past season averaging 5.2 PPG, 3 RPG, 2 APG, and 2 SPG. High school coach Nick Arnello stated, 'Aaron is going to become a key player for us. He was a role player as a junior playing with three seniors who were All Region players.  He is currently playing for the prestigious Team SC and has grown two inches since the season ended and is prime for a breakout season in 2020.

Aaron comes from a basketball family. His two older brothers were both varsity basketball players at Westside and his younger sister, Olivia, is a top recruit in the Southeast in the class of 2023. For Aaron, he has a unique blend of length and skill. The southpaw has excellent shooting mechanics, a high release, with proper extension and follow through. He definitely has touch and range. Coach Arnello stated, 'Aaron has size and wingspan at the guard position. He led the team in deflections last year and gets his hands on a ton of passes defensively. He can also shoot over defenders with his size. The next step in his development is to improve his ball handling since he will be handling some of the point guard duties this year.'

Aaron is a late bloomer that is still growing and definitely has a chance to become a scholarship level player. He has the length and shooting skills that will make him an attractive prospect and he will get that opportunity this coming season.
