There are various under-the-radar players in North Carolina, and Logan Botts has certainly been one throughout his time at Forestview High School. Questions about his size and athleticism always circled but Botts kept his head down, consistently worked on his all-around game, and emerging as one of the most productive players in the state as a result. In hindsight, all those questions have been rendered irrelevant. Now, Botts will go down as the most successful player in Forestview history, leading his team to a 17-11 record, their first playoff appearance in 11 years, and totaling 1746 points in his career. This season alone, Botts averaged 29.3 PPG, 3 APG, and 1.8 SPG, including setting the new records in single-game scoring at 44 points and career totals of free-throws made, three-pointers made, and field goals made.
