Diving in and going back to watch film, Dudley High School has been a hotbed of producing talent in a variety of sports and recently watching games for them, this is a team that offers some intriguing talent on the court for college coaches down the road.

2026 Cortney “CJ” Jones

Watching Dudley in action, one can’t help but be intrigued with the young development and game of 2026 6’1 CJ Jones.  He is having a HUGE sophomore season, averaging 20ppg, 2.5rpg, and 1.5apg, being an effective option from a variety of levels on the court. Jones can hurt you in a variety of ways, whether it is attacking off the dribble and getting inside the defense, creating and making plays, and also playing off the ball to knock down shots with range.  He has a nice blend of size, athleticism, and playmaking ability that allows him to fill it up in an array of ways. Good shooter and attacker on the court, with a good understanding of the game. He holds a Charleston offer, but he could see an uptick in his recruitment with a strong summer.

2025 Jerron Blackwell

Blackwell continues to flourish as an overall athlete, whether on the court or the football field. This young man continues to be a force with his ability to be a strong, athletic prospect who knows how to make plays for himself and others. He does much of his work in controlling the game and attacking, looking to get inside the defense and finish strong.  He has been having a solid season as a leader on the court, averaging 14.0ppg, 5.1rpg, and 2.1apg while also holding football offers as well. An intriguing dual-sport prospect.

2025 CJ Neely

This is a young man that I believe could be a strong option for schools because of what he provides and his consistency. We first watched him with Ben L. Smith and he has only continued to be productive at Dudley, averaging 12.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.7apg, and 2.5spg. This is a young man who shows versatility in his game, understands how to make his impact felt in a variety of ways, and can step up as an offensive option. He has a mature frame, can make plays off the bounce and finish, competes on the boards and defensively, and just makes those extra-effort plays that you love to see. I have a feeling that this is a young man who could be a sneaky get for a program at the next level. He too though, is a big-time football prospect as well holding multiple offers as well.

2027 Andrew Rogers

This is a young man that I would jot down and watch as he continues to develop. But you can’t deny that the 6’6 center has a lot of intrigue with his strong frame, his early flashes, and what he could ultimately be as he learns the position more. Early on, he is an absolute bull down in the paint, showing flashes of his understanding out to post up, use his strength to his advantage, and he has strong hands that allow him to be assertive on the glass. What also impressed me was how well he moved in running the floor along with seeing the floor well for a big man. Write his name down to watch as he develops.
