Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Cooper Hawk
Class: 2022
Committed to: Bridgewater College

2021-22 Season:

This past season could have been a breakout type season for Hawk, as the 6'8 forward really produced in a variety of ways and nearly finished averaging a double-double for First Flight High School.  Playing in 28 games, Hawk averaged 10.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, and recorded 2.3 blocks per game, helping his team to a 23-6 overall record.

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

'First Flight has always been known for their perimeter shooting but 6'7 Cooper Hawk provided positive minutes and a solid interior presence for his team.  He stayed active around the post, attacked the boards, and really made his opponent be aware of his presence in the paint. Nice touch, ran from spot to spot in the post, and showed nice touch.'

'On the season, Cooper is posting averages of 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game. He loves to make an impact on both ends, making his presence known, protecting the basket, running the floor well, and finishing well around the basket. A forward flying under the radar in North Carolina but has been demonstrating his production level on the court. It is why recently earned an offer from Bridgewater to start the year. Continue to check in on this unsigned senior that has just produced this season and still has room to grow.'
