Passion Driven Sports has been a pillar in the Pee Dee/Grand Strand area for the past two years. Gym Gems will be focusing on Small town kids with big-time talent. Every one of these prospects is high character competitors who excel inside the classroom and on the basketball court. Got a chance to work out with these three players

Gym Gems:

Omazeon 'Dude' Tinsley
5'8 ft 165 lbs
Lancaster High

Tinsley: When you want or need a bucket no need to look any further, he can do that. He is all around, doing it all guard. He averages 18 ppg. 5 asst 2 rebs 5 stls He can run a team and will defend 94 feet. Very coachable, gym rat, understands the game and is motivated. Three-level scorer and that can distribute the ball. Already has offers from Newberry and Fort Valley State.

Trainer Perspective
Dude is a true definition of a point guard. Great paint touch guard with a great handle get him into trouble sometimes, but still is the ultimate competitor with a work ethic that is unmatched.

Grayson Kirk
6'1 ft 175 lbs
Lancaster High

Grayson Kirk is being labeled as the 'next up' at Lancaster High. Grayson has caught 5 inch growth spurt this year. He is a big combo guard that can space the floor, defend and hopefully take over and run the show at Lancaster in the next few years. He has the ability to become a strong college prospect in Coach Cauthen's system that gives him freedom to become a playmaker.

Trainer Perspective
Grayson is a guard with nice size and quickness. Best part of his game is his ability to make shots. Needs to become a consistent defender, Has great upside.

Mac Washington
6'3 ft 185 lbs
Marion High

Mac Washington is one of the biggest sleepers in SC. He average 17 pts 9 rebs 3 asst 2 stls 1.5 blks per game. Great size with good athleticism. 2 way player who has the ability to score at all three levels with the ability to stretch the floor with NBA range. Has ability to create his own shot but needs to become elite at it.

Trainer Perspective
Mac is all-around talent who has the ability to become special. Incredible work ethic and will to become a college basketball prospect. Division 2 schools should be offering more now than later.'
