Players are building their resumes and seeing names pop up on NBA Draft boards, and one player that we have talked about back when he was in high school and watching him again at the collegiate level was now freshman 7-footer Yves Missi at Baylor.

Back when we watched him with Prolific Prep, we had this to say (before committing to Baylor):

“Easy to see why 2024 6’11 Yves Missi is such a target for so many. Great length, fluid, and moves well without the ball, tremendous wingspan and ability to finish so well at the rim.”

And we watched him again in a loss to Kansas, where he finished with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks, showcasing his ability to impact the game on both sides, his presence around the basket, and his continuing growth as a prospect. Missi, again only a freshman, showcases his ability to score well with tremendous touch, athleticism at the rim, and ability to alter shots on the defensive end. He excelled in pick-and-roll situations, moves extremely well and is quite nimble at his size, has a natural understanding of finishing lobs at the basket, and is starting to be a huge presence around the paint offensively. And again, he is just starting to truly showing his full potential with more left in his game.  From what we saw in the loss to Kansas, and his overall development and growth, Missi should be on many boards for NBA organizations.
