There were plenty of names that went off the board this past weekend, as more Phenom Hoops alums will be playing at the next level. 2024 Peter Moye, 2024 J3 Swindell, and 2024 Lenier Pocknett all announced their next adventure, continuing their basketball career at the next level. Check out what has been said about each in the past.

2024 J3 Swindell – Committed to Tusculum

“Swindell is a guy who has always known how to assert himself. However, it’s easy to see the general evolvement of his game over the years. Swindell is a highly polished player with a strong, physical frame and versatile skillset. He can create his own shot in several different ways, including post-ups, pull-ups within a few dribbles, attacking the basket, or as an off-ball cutter. Swindell is a lethal shooting threat who can get hot and knock down jumpers in bunches. He utilizes his body well to finish and generate contact around the basket. Swindell is also a willing rebounder and capable defender.”

2024 Peter Moye – Committed to Hampden-Sydney

What Has Been Said:

“Moye posted insane averages of 21.3 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 3.0 APG, and 1.3 SPG while posting unbelievably efficient 56/49/78 splits on an impressive volume from all levels. He led the team in three of the five major statistical categories and showcased the ability to do legitimately everything on a game-to-game basis. Furthermore, Moye is the type of selfless, low-maintenance, well-rounded player who adapts to various types of roles and is willing to do whatever is necessary for the betterment of the team. Each one of his teammates and coaches only have high praise regarding the versatile guard. Whether operating as the primary option or a complementary piece, he simply finds ways to be an effective contributor. Add in his IQ, motor, and malleability, and it’s easy to see how he’ll be an asset at the next level.”

2024 Lenier Pocknett – Committed to Montreat

What Has Been Said:

“Pocknett is one I believe can help a program at the next level. His blend of size, physicality, and production in a variety of areas is impressive. Brings a strong two-way presence on the court, is active on the defensive end, uses his strength to be physical, and plays with a great motor offensively.”
